Working with Melina

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that we are all deserving of a life filled with our own peace, pleasure, and prosperity. I encourage a therapeutic space that invites our most human selves forward; cultivating a relationship that honors your values, features your strengths, and supports you as you pursue your greatest goals and aspirations.

Each session is a generous balance of honesty, humility, challenge, and compassion. My client-centered approach is commonly accompanied by interventions that are inherently consent-focused and trauma-informed.

Common frameworks in my work include attachment-based therapy, narrative therapy, internal family systems, acceptance and commitment therapy, the developmental model, and sensate focus.

Above all, I strive to arrive in every session with authenticity and curiosity, creating a therapeutic experience that centers you and your goals, your learning style, and your innate wisdom
